When you are worried about your pet, you may not know whether or not they require emergency care. If that is the case, consider a few things:
- Unusual behavior. If your pet has a history of specific odd behaviors and has already been diagnosed, you may not need to bring them in. However, if your pet exhibits odd behaviors that seem to cause them pain, consider giving us a call.
- Ingestion of poisons or objects. If your pet ingests an item that is not food or is known to be poisonous, get in contact with us immediately.
- Injuries. No matter how small an injury may seem, you should still have your pet checked. Just because they do not act injured does not mean they aren’t.
